Amitabh Bachchan cracked a pleasing tongue-in-cheek joke on south superstar Rajinikanth on his Twitter page. But this hasn’t gone down well with certain people.
Big B wrote: “Someone sent me this on mobile – “When Graham Bell discovered the telephone, he found two missed calls from Rajnikant !!” Brilliant.”
Soon, the superstar corrected the minor mistake and wrote: “Ok ! Graham Bell ‘invented’ the telephone … not ‘discovered’ as written earlier .. in Rajni joke .. !!! Apologies !!”
But the joke wasn’t well-received by fans in Twitter world, some of whom actually got quite angry.
Big B then clarified, “Not making fun of him …praising his status and his greatness ..he is noble successful humble person , and revered like a God.” .
