Deepika refuses Rs 4 crore offer….

For Deepika Padukone, money is not everything. Buzz has it that the actress has apparently turned down a huge sum of Rs 4 crore for a wealthy Punjabi family at an upscale club in London.
DP’s Dum Maaro Dum item number has mesmerized the audience in London and so the offer was specific. “It was supposed to be a private party with family members and friends only. Since Dippy’s sporting an extremely sexy look in the song, they wanted her to wear the skimpy shorts and perform the same moves,” reveals a source.
A source from London reveals, “The DMD song has been playing in night clubs. The family who made the offer is extremely rich and wealthy and from Knights bridge.
They were ready to pay her a bomb just for one song. The actress initially thought it was a joke, but when the proposal came in form of a letter with the amount cited, she was shocked. She has had many such offers in the past, but has always refused them”
Deepika’s refusal disappointed the family as they had already booked the club and tried to recreate the original appeal of the song.
A source close to Deepika confirms, “The offer was made to her. But she has made it very clear that private parties are not her scene. She wouldn’t do it for any amount.”
