Bangladesh media calls SRK the ‘King of vulgarity’



The king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan was recently called the ‘king of vulgarity’ by a Bangladeshi weekly tabloid. The actor performed in Bangladesh on December 10. While the show was a huge hit with people thronging the stadium to watch him live, the Bangladesh media condemned the actor for his ‘vulgar behaviour’. Actors like Arjun Rampal, Rani Mukherjee, Esha Koppikar and Dia Mirza also joined SRK for the gala event at Army Stadium.
The Bangladesh local English tabloid Weekly Blitz has thrashed Shahrukh. The reporter writes, “People call him ‘King Khan of Bollywood’! I would rather call him ‘King of vulgarity’.”
The article, objects to SRK dancing with ‘half nude Russian girls’ among other. The star had no respect for the host country. According to the weekly, the actor has even flouted the country’s law by smoking in public and in front of the cameras. He was severely criticized for saying a Bangladeshi slang repeatedly from the dais.
